Position Summary

Safely manages the install, maintenance, repair and test equipment for the generation, distribution or utilization of electric energy and provide strategy support to management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

● Creatively analyzing and solving problems with various electrical controls and systems.
Duties And Responsibilities
● Communicate expectations of project entirety to lead technicians and enforce proper chain of command and communication including material lists, project schedule and requests for information.
● Directly and indirectly oversee multiple technicians and groups of technicians, while working with sales, dispatchers and project managers to accomplish common goals.
● Leverages data and leadership in the areas of manpower allocation, dispatch scheduling and project layout to support team in layout and allocation of resources for manpower, equipment and materials.
● Provide leadership and accountability for field operations.
● Directly and indirectly provide technical support for technicians and groups of technicians.
● Ensure project sustainability to include just in time manpower, logistics, materials, permits and inspections in consideration of common client and company goals.
● Knowledge in all areas of the national electrical code.
● Train and coordinate troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment in commercial and industrial applications
● Train and coordinate lead technicians to gain ability to plan, layout and oversee work projects from wiring diagrams, schematics, sketches blueprints and/or verbal instructions
● Train and coordinate lead technicians to gain ability to select the correct materials to complete work assignments.
● Proficient in supervising and establishing test procedures relative to lead requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.
● Proficient in supervising and enforcing the maintenance of company and technician's tools and equipment in good working order.
● Train and coordinate troubleshoot and repair on-site power generators.
● Train and coordinate lead technicians to coordinate, execute and manage other electricians for repairs on all indoor and outdoor electrical systems.
● Understand state and local building codes, and know OSHA, Environmental Protection Agency, and other electrical regulations.
● Heavy lifting over 100 pounds, climbing ladders, enclosed spaces, etc.
● Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Technical Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Virginia Journeyman and scheduling Master Electrician
4+ years electrical installation & maintenance experience
Must be able to pass background check
Must have reliable transportation
OSHA 30
